MISSOURI GETS MIGRANT
ENGLISH EDUCATION SPECIALIST
The Central Regional Professional Development Center is
proud to announce the addition of a new member to our team. Becky
Marrujo Smith will be serving schools in our region as Migrant English
Education Instructional Specialist. Her primary focus will be to
provide professional development and technical assistance for teachers
and serve in an advocacy capacity for migrant and limited English
language proficient students. Becky has five years experience as
director of the migrant education program in Sedalia, Missouri,
is married, and has three children and one grandchild. Originally
from Los Angeles, California,
Becky currently resides in Knob Noster, Missouri.
